Office of Human Rights Hosts Fair Housing Forum
October 6, 2009 - (RealEstateRama) — The Montgomery County Office of Human Rights will host an educational forum on Thursday, October 22 from 12:30 to 4 p.m., in Building 2 of the University of Maryland, Shady Grove Campus.
The free forum, called “One Stop Fair Housing Shop,” will feature speakers from the following County and State agencies: Human Rights, Consumer Protection, Landlord-Tenant Affairs, Housing Opportunities Commission and the Maryland Commission on Human Relations. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions and obtain informational materials. Housing organizations may reserve a table for informational displays.
