County and State Co-Host Foreclosure Workshop
August 2, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — Montgomery County’s Department of Housing and Community Affairs and the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development will co-host a free workshop on Monday, August 8 from 3 to 8 p.m., to assist those faced with possible mortgage foreclosures. The workshop will take place at the Silver Spring Civic Building, One Veterans Place, Silver Spring.
The workshop will provide information about the State of Maryland’s Emergency Mortgage Assistance Program. The program is designed to help homeowners who have lost income due to involuntary unemployment or medical problems and have fallen behind on mortgage payments. Funding for the program is limited and applications should be submitted as soon as possible.
