Expressions of Interest Sought for Montgomery County Green Bank Board of Directors

WASHINGTON, D.C. – (RealEstateRama) — Expressions of Interest to serve on the Board of Directors for the Montgomery County Green Bank are being accepted until 5 p.m. on Tuesday, May 3.

Board members will be tasked with developing a nonprofit with the purpose of increasing private capital investment and deployment of energy efficiency and clean energy in the County. The Board will need to develop bylaws that comply with the Green Bank law and seek designation from the County Council.

In June 2015, Montgomery County was the first local jurisdiction in the nation to pass legislation to establish a Green Bank. The Green Bank will be a nonprofit with County designation to carry out the mission and purpose of the Green Bank law.
