Ruppersberger to Host Foreclosure Prevention Workshop

Owings Mills, MD - November 18, 2011 - (RealEstateRama) -- Congressman C.A. Dutch Ruppersberger (D-MD) will host a foreclosure prevention workshop in Owings Mills tomorrow, Saturday, November 18, 2011, to help keep Maryland families in their homes. The workshop will give local homeowners a chance to meet one-on-one with their mortgage lender, servicers and counselors. This is the fifth such workshop Congressman Ruppersberger has hosted since 2010, helping hundreds of families facing foreclosure.

Baltimore Real Estate Agent Sentenced to Over Two Years in Prison...

U.S. District Judge James K. Bredar sentenced Michael Gerard Camphor, age 60, of Baltimore, to 27 months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release on charges arising from the fraudulent purchase of four properties in Baltimore, using fraudulent loan documentation and straw purchasers, resulting in losses of over $735,000. At the sentencing on February 28, 2016, Judge Bredar also ordered Camphor to pay restitution of $735,363.47 and to forfeit $962,274.95
