Sarbanes Statement on Obama Administration’s Clean Power Plan

Congressman John Sarbanes (D-Md.) issued the following statement today after the Obama Administration released its Clean Power Plan, the most significant commitment by any American president to fight climate change. The proposal would reduce carbon pollution in the United States by 32 percent by 2030, while simultaneously investing in clean energy and improving energy efficiency standards.
